Even though this has been a stressful semester, I am thankful for the blooming trees that accompany me on my walks and while I'm doing homework on the roof. With the end of the school year comes a weird feeling of finality and change that I don't know if I'm ready for yet.

After watching the boys in the skate park try to do their cool tricks and kick-flips, I managed to capture the perfect action shot of a skater boy. His all black aesthetic, despite the summer heat, was on brand to his look.
Reading in the park with the light summer breeze and the faint smell of ice cream makes me appreciate the relaxing days in life. I spotted this girl and couldn't help but take a photo of a moment so calm.
I love the way that the lush beauty of the ivy grows against the grungy, graffiti-clad wall. This isn't a spot where I would sit down and have a picnic, but I think that visually, it has more character than a lot of spots around the city.
I found this photo of my neighbor's flowers deep in my film photo archives. This weather needs to stop teasing us, I'm ready for warmth again (but I will miss sweatshirts and cozy flannels).
